  2. We learn even more about best practices to take care of you. We already have incredible staff who are well trained and care for their patients with the highest levels of compassion. When we go through the process to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of approval, industry experts and experienced health care professionals from outside our organization provide expert advice and education. If there’s an area our staff can improve, they’ll walk us through it. We’re committed to continual improvement, and we take advantage of this opportunity to learn and make our medical practice even better.

When we ask The Joint Commission to come take a close up look at Texas Tech Physicians’ clinics, representatives from a variety of health care industries walk through every aspect of our operations to make sure we meet top-of-the-line standards. We spend a lot of time and energy measuring, evaluating, tweaking and adjusting our processes to ensure not only accreditation, but that we deliver care that meets high standards for our surveyors and, most importantly, our patients.

Texas Tech Physicians of Lubbock clinics have earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, effective as of May 23, 2023, valid for up to 36 months.
