Frequently Asked Questions

How will my insurance company pay for my procedure?

Please check with your insurance company to see how they will pay for an in-office procedure. All procedures will be paid according to your insurance plan's surgical benefits. Some insurance plans will have a deductible and a coinsurance balance that is the patient's responsibility. Others may include the services in your office copay. Copays are typically for evaluation and management services only and do not include procedures such as:

  • freezings (liquid nitrogen services)
  • intralesional injections
  • laser treatments
  • scissor removals

Do you offer assistance for self-pay patients?

Patients who do not have insurance and would like to obtain information about possible assistance with their billings must call our financial screening department prior to their apointment date. You can contact them at (806) 743-1970 ext. 268.

How can I obtain the cost for my procedure before the service is performed?

Please inform your doctor that you would like to know the cost prior to the service being rendered. The clinic office manager or billing coordinator will assist you with pricing. Estimates prior to your appointment date can be given by the front office personnel.

Do I call your office or the business office if I have a question about my billing?

Please contact our office and we will be glad to answer any billing questions that you may have.

*If you have any questions, please contact us once you have received your billing statement or your explanation of benefits from your insurance company.
