Q: I have trouble getting around because of my condition. Will someone help me when I visit Texas Tech Physicians?

A: Absolutely. Our transportation staff can provide assistance. When you enter from 4th Street, drive around the canopy on the north side of the TTUHSC building. The Pavilion entrance is located directly in front of the TTUHSC building. Enter the lobby and someone at the information desk will assist you in securing a wheelchair and if necessary, parking your car. Transportation Assistance can be provided at all TTP locations. Patients at other locations should contact the clinic directly regarding any special needs they may have.

Q: Are all the physicians specialists?

A: No. Many of our TTP doctors are specialists but some are still medical students and some are residents. Still, there are others that practice as nurse practitioners. In order to read more about those initials that come after your doctor's name, please click here...

Q: Do I need a specialist?

A: Your primary care physician (or PCP) is the first stop in any medical situation except for emergencies. Make an appointment and talk over any concerns or problems you have. If your PCP can't answer your questions, he/she will refer you to someone who can. We have a convenient FIND A DOCTOR list on our home page in case you need a PCP or want to find the primary care doctor you currently use.
