The immunizations required by each country will depend upon several factors:
- which general immunizations you have received and when you received them
- the specific country you are visiting
- travel stops within the country
- your accommodations
- exposures you may encounter
Please bring any prior immunization records with you when you visit TravelMed.
General necessary immunizations may include:
- Tetanus-diphtheria (Td)
- Hemophilus influenza (HIB)
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza, viral
- Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR)
- Pneumococcal pneumonia
- Polio
Specific or required immunizations may include:
- Hepatitis A
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Meningococcal meningitis
- Plague
- Rabies
