Pulmonary Medicine is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the respiratory system. These can included asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, COPD, pneumonia, bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, pulmonary emboli, and sleep disorders.

At Texas Tech Physicians we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment plan for all types of Pulmonary diseases. We provide diagnostic procedures and interpret pulmonary function tests, exercise tests, and polysomnography.

Physicians in this division also have additional training in critical care, sleep disorders, and certification in Palliative medicine. We are also experienced in diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
