Dr. Dana Phillips

"My husband and I have known each other since high school and he is my best friend. As we have raised our children together and suffered through illness and surgeries, I recognize how essential it is to have a life partner and I am grateful for the life we have been able to share."
"My youngest daughter has been learning to ride horses for the last several years, and I thought it would be great if I had a horse so I could learn about them too. My horse was fired from his first job as a barrel racer (because he wouldn't go fast enough). Sounds great, right? I managed to get thrown off nonetheless and fractured my pelvis. I read somewhere that the hardest thing about riding is the ground; it's true. I have since recovered and my goal now is to learn to stay on better. I have accepted the fact that I am destined to go slow and will never be in the Olympics!"
"I really enjoy the personal connections that come with practicing obstetrics and gynecology. I am invited into women's lives during their most intimate moments, like the trepidation at the first pelvic exam or the excitement and joy as they experience their first pregnancy. Being able to win the trust of women and follow them through these milestones is very rewarding for me."
