PARENTS, YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
OPEN ACCESS SCHEDULING
WHAT IS IT?
If your child is our patient and he or she is sick (vomiting, fever, diarrhea, etc.) , it is our pledge to you that we will see them today. Your kids are our first priority.
HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT ME?
Have you ever been told, "Bring them in tomorrow, we are just too booked up to see him/her today." or "I'm sorry, but your child's doctor is out for the next few days, but you can go to the Emergency Room if you feel like you need to. We believe in taking care of your child above the need of pre-set scheduling and we believe that a sick child needs to be seen today if necessary.
HOW CAN I TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS?
1. A TEXAS TECH PEDIATRICIAN must be your child's PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN, it can be arranged with your insurance company. (Medicaid accepted).
2. Call our Medical Pavilion office at 743-7337 and let them know your child's condition and ask about Open Access Scheduling. You will initially speak with a triage nurse and if it is determined that your child must be seen today, we will see your child.
3. Get your child the care that they need, today.
