Texas Tech Physicians nephrology experts offer quality care for the management of all forms of kidney disease, as well as end-stage renal disease, and are nationally recognized faculty members within the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
The nephrology division at Texas Tech Physicians has a qualified kidney transplantation program and is home to research in diabetic kidney disease, insulin resistance in obesity, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases and is currently conducting various clinical trials in dialysis and diabetic patients.
With a dual focus that includes hypertension, the department specializes in the management of acute and chronic kidney disease, infections, vascular diseases and allergic inflammation of the kidneys and urinary tract, primary and secondary hypertension and resistant hypertension.
