Amarillo

Texas Tech Physicians doctors in Amarillo have hospital privileges at Amarillo VA Health Care System, Baptist St. Anthony's Health System, and Northwest Texas Hospital. 

Amarillo VA Health Care System provides quality primary, specialty, and extended care to veterans throughout the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, eastern New Mexico, and southern Kansas. It also ensures health care is accessible to veterans residing in rural areas through community-based outpatient clinics in Lubbock, Childress, and Clovis (New Mexico). The health care system maintains 55 beds for general medical, surgical, and intensive care and 120 beds in a nursing home care unit for geriatric and extended care. Specialized programs include a home portable sleep study program, an outpatient substance abuse program, and services for blind veterans living in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Baptist St. Anthony's Health System (BSA) has more than 450 physicians on staff and is the fourth-largest employer in Amarillo. It is fully accredited through Medicare-approved DNV Healthcare, and it was ranked in 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics in 2013. BSA's mission is to "provide quality health care in Christian love, service, and dignity."

Northwest Texas Hospital is an advanced, Level III Trauma Center and handles more than 50,000 emergency department visits every year. As an academic medical center, Northwest has the most advanced technological innovations for diagnosis and treatment available to physicians, students, and patients. The hospital is associated with multiple area nursing programs and helps train the next generation of quality nurses. In addition to its specialization in high-risk perinatal situations, Northwest is an accredited chest pain center and is certified as a primary stroke center. Its centers of excellence include women's health, pediatric and neonatal intensive care, trauma/emergency, mental health, and heart.

    Run by Dr. Thomas Hale, the world's leading expert in perinatal pharmacology (the study of the effects of drugs during pregnancy and breastfeeding), the InfantRisk Center operates an international hotline for women seeking breastfeeding and pregnancy advice as well as a smartphone app for health care providers.     Creates a new approach to women's health care by helping health care professionals design special approaches to providing women with health information, disease diagnosis, and treatment.

Lubbock

Texas Tech Physicians doctors in Lubbock have hospital privileges at UMC Health System, Covenant Health System, Grace Clinic, and Lubbock Heart Hospital.

UMC Health System has the region's only Level I Trauma Center, and its partnership with Texas Tech Physicians (TTP) means there are specialists and surgeons on call 24 hours a day. UMC's Bone Marrow Unit is the only program in the Lubbock area accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) to perform autologous transplants. UMC's Burn Center is the only one of its kind between Dallas and Phoenix, and its Children's Hospital is the only Children's Miracle Network hospital in the region. UMC's centers of excellence include the Breast Imaging Center, the Southwest Cancer Center, the Family Birth Center, the Children's Hospital, the Heart Center, the Timothy J. Covenant Health is the largest health care institution in the West Texas and Eastern New Mexico region and offers more medical specialties and health services than any other provider in the region. Its specialty treatment centers include Covenant Heart and Vascular Institute, Covenant NeuroScience Institute, Owens-White Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center, Covenant Women's Hospital, and Covenant Children's Hospital.

Grace Clinic's Pain Management Center is run by Dr. Gabor Racz and Dr. Miles Day of Texas Tech Physicians. The center serves to improve the quality of life of those suffering from chronic and cancer pain. U.S. News & World Report ranked Dr. Racz among the top 1 percent in the nation in his specialty and Dr. Day among the top 10 percent in the nation in his specialty. The center offers diagnostic and treatment services that include evaluations, physical examinations, psychological assessments, imaging, pain blocks, chronic pain management, and surgery.

Permian Basin

Texas Tech Physicians doctors in the Permian Basin have hospital privileges at Medical Center Hospital and Midland Memorial Hospital.

Medical Center Hospital (MCH) is the only full-service hospital in the region and has served Ector County and the 17 surrounding counties of the Permian Basin for more than 60 years. MCH is the teaching hospital of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa and has more than 280 practicing physicians in more than 30+ specialties meeting a variety of health care needs. Some of its care centers include the Laser & Wellness Center, Mission Fitness, Center for Women & Infants, and the MCH Sleep Center. Medical Center Hospital promotes sepsis outreach and research through the Severe Sepsis Outreach Program (a partnership with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine).

Midland Memorial Hospital hosts innovative programs such as the Heart Institute, state-of-the-art imaging services, and a comprehensive surgery program and rehabilitation services. In 2013, it received the American Heart Association's Heart Failure Gold Plus award for the fourth year in a row and has also received a Center of Distinction award for its Wound Management Center and a Pathway to Excellence award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
