Elizabeth OritzElizabeth Ortiz-González earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Central University of Venezuela in Venezuela. Ms. Ortiz-González began her graduate training in 2014 and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University.

Currently, Ms. Ortiz-González is a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at Texas Tech University and practicum student providing therapy and conducting psychological assessments under the supervision of Dr. Michael Gomez at the Center for Superheroes.

Ms. Ortiz-González’s research interests include child externalizing behavior problems in ethnic minority groups and exploring cultural factors that impact parenting in Latino families.
