Kimberly RuthardtKimberly Ruthardt is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.  She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a dual Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology and attended Lubbock Christian University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Kimberly’s research interests are PTSD, assessing and treating childhood trauma, children/adolescents with sexual behavior problems, and evidence-based attachment interventions within the caregiver-child dyad.


  • Nationally Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Therapist
  • Trained in Seeking Safety, a SAMSHA Best Practices evidence based treatment for adult and adolescent Dual Diagnosis (i.e., PTSD and co-occurring substance abuse) that can be conducted either individually or in group
  • Trained in Evidence Based Assessment of Traumatized Children
  • Foundational Theraplay Practitioner
