Our diagnostic techniques allow our experts to determine an accurate diagnosis for each individual’s heart and care for even the most complicated issues with state-of-the-art treatments.
Watchman
An alternative to blood thinners, this one-time procedure is a minimally invasive solution for individuals with atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve problem (non-valvuar AFib). The left atrial appendage closure implant is a permanent device that cannot be seen outside of the body and does not need to be replaced.
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
Replaces a narrowed aortic valve that will not open properly by guiding a catheter from the leg or chest to the heart in this minimally-invasive procedure.
Cardiac MRI
Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging generates detailed images that emulate the structure and functions of the heart. With these images, our doctors can study the individual’s heart muscle and find underlying causes of heart failure and identify tissue damage caused by heart attacks.
Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)
Provides hope and options for patients who are awaiting a heart transplant or have reached end-stage heart failure. This surgically-implanted pump uses electromechanical technology to pump blood to the rest of the body.
Arrhythmia Ablation
For those with an irregular heart rhythm, this procedure creates scar tissue that disrupts the faulty electrical signals causing a patient’s arrhythmia.
